    3-4 cloves garlic
    celery center w/greens diced
    one medium fresh tomato
    cannelini beans - 1 cup (1tbsp baking soda)
    olive oil - 1 tbsp

soak dried beans over night and boil about 30-40 minutes. Add a bit of baking soda while the beans cook.
saute garlic, add tomotoe & cook 2-3 minutes, add celery and continue to cook, medium heat. Add a bit of bean broth and continue to cook. Add beans with water plus a 1.5 cup water. Cook down twice for a good long time until the flavor is where it should be- I simmer for 2-3 hrs, salt & pepper to taste.
Add water as necessary, so it remains a soup consistency.

You can eat as a soup initially and then add more water, bring to a boil and add ditalini pasta (or whatever small or broken pasta you have on hand).
