Fruit Smoothie with Ground Flax Seed

Introduction

A yummy treat that is packed with vitamins, minerals and calcium without dairy so its low in fat and pretty good in the fiber department.

It will taste a little gritty but not much. With the frozen berries there is no need to add ice!

Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    2 tbsp Flax Seed Meal (ground flax seed)
    8 oz Tropicana Pure Premium OJ plus Calcium & Vitmn D
    I Medium Banana
    1 cup Frozen Mixed Berries

Directions

Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until desired consistency. No need for added sugar, it will only add more calories - the fruit has enough on its own.
