1 Ham Steak (1 pound-1.25 pounds) 1 20 oz can Pineapple Chunks, drained, reserving liquid 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar 1 tsp Ground Cloves 1 Tbsp Earth Balance vegan buttery sticks
Heat a large non-stick skillet at medium heat. Add butter and melt. Cut ham steak into 4 or 5 pieces and place in skillet. While ham is cooking on first side for 5 minutes, open can of pineapple chunks, drain saving the juice. In a separate small bowl, put in the brown sugar, ground cloves and just 2-4 tablespoons of the juice. Mix well. Turn ham slices over. cover ham with the pineapple chunks and pour over the sauce. Turn heat down to medium low and cook for 15 minutes.
