Submitted by: ATLOCKEIntroduction
Ground turkey version of Szechuan ground pork with green beans. I swapped out the green beans for broccoli. Either taste great. Ground turkey version of Szechuan ground pork with green beans. I swapped out the green beans for broccoli. Either taste great.Number of Servings: 8
Ingredients
-
1 pound lean ground turkey
2 teaspoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
2 teaspoon sesame oil
4 cups cut broccoli
3 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
4 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 packet of sweetener (I use Ideal Xylitol)
2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
4 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce
Tips
Use 5 cups of green beans in place of broccoli. Soy Vay Garlic Hoisin Sauce is my favorite.
Directions
1. Mix ground turkey, cornstarch, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add turkey mixture, broccoli, and garlic; cook 3 minutes or until turkey loses its pink color, stirring to crumble.
3. While turkey is cooking mix hoisin sauce, sugar, red pepper, and soy sauce in a small bowl, stirring with a whisk or fork.
4. When turkey is done, add hoisin mixture to pan. Cook 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring frequently.
