Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    Ground Turkey (2 lbs.)
    (1) can of crushed tomatoes: 30 oz.
    (1) can of diced tomatoes: 30 oz.
    (1) can of dark red kidney beans: 45 oz.

    Garlic
    Worcestershire sauce
    Cumin
    Crushed Red Pepper
    Chili Powder
    salt and pepper to taste

    Toppings if desired (nutritional information MUST be calculated separately):
    sour cream
    shredded cheese
    hot sauce

Tips

I like to use the canned tomatoes that have spices (Basil or Oregano). If you can not find these, you can add to recipe successfully while cooking.


Directions

Brown garlic in pan sprayed with Pam. Add ground turkey and break up as it cooks fully. The finer the better.
Add tomatoes and kidney beans to crock pot along with spices. Drain and add turkey mixture to the pot. Close, set to high (6 hours) or low (overnight). Simmer on warm and serve Hot!

Serving Size: makes a hearty rounded 1/2 cup serving
