Used Turkey ham and low sodium chicken broth. Put a few dry cancho chilis in for a little more kick. Only needed about 4 1/2 hours on high in the crock pot. If leaving to cook all day(like at work) would leave it on low. good taste, froze well.
I added chicken bouilion, garlic, onion powder, cumin, white pepper, and a couple dashes tabasco. After all this I thought it was really quite tasty. It didn't need 5 hours on high. Versatile recipe at any rate. Thank you~
