Turkey mini loafs-turkey meatballs - low carb - 17 day cycle 1

Introduction

Turkey muffins, mini loafs, 17 day diet cycle 1 -approved recipe. Turkey muffins, mini loafs, 17 day diet cycle 1 -approved recipe.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 pkg lean ground turkey (about 20 oz)
    4 oz of canned tomato sauce
    1/4 cup diced white onion
    1 tsp dried rosemary
    1 tsp dried oregano
    1 large egg

Tips

This mixture is very wet which is why I made them in a muffin pan. If you are following the 17 day diet, and reach cycle 2, you can add 1/2 cup of quick oats to the mixture and make meat balls.


Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Use a regular size (non-stick) muffin pan, spray with fat free cooking spray or olive oil.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. drop by the spoon, filling each cup with equal amounts of the mixture. When all 12 cups are full, there should be no mixture left. The mini loafs do not rise much.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until thoroughly cooked. The top of the turkey may be a bit brown.

Remove from oven and enjoy! Easy to take with you and taste great cold too.
