1 lb extra lean beef
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves
1 can tomato sauce (28 oz)
1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
1.5 tsp salt
1 tsp dried oregano
2 cups low-fat cottage cheese
1/2 cup low-fat parmesan cheese
250 g brown lice lasagna noodles (about 9 noodles)
8 oz shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
You can add frozen/thawed spinach to cottage cheese.
You can also make this with wheat noodles.
Substitute ground turkey or chicken for the ground beef.
