This would be a request for my last meal. The recipe has been in the family for over 60 years and is a staple at get togethers. It's humble beginnings began during my parent's poker night. This would be a request for my last meal. The recipe has been in the family for over 60 years and is a staple at get togethers. It's humble beginnings began during my parent's poker night.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 block Philadelphia 1/3 Less Fat Cream Cheese
    2-3 scallions or green onions
    1-2 garlic cloves
    1/4 cup hot water
    1 beef bullion cube

Tips

This recipe is easily doubled.


Directions

1. Soften the cream cheese.
2. Wash, trim the scallions and mince finely.
3. Peel and finely mince the garlic.
4. Add the cream cheese, scallions, and garlic together in a medium bowl.
5. Dissolve the beef bullion in the hot water.
6. Using an electric beater, mix the first three ingedients together in the bowl.
7. Add bullion slowly while beating until a good dipping consistency is reached.
8. Refrigerate for a few hours to let the flavors meld.

Serve chilled.

Serving Size: Makes approximately 8 1 oz servings
