Low Sodium Hot Wings Baked

Introduction

Love Buffalo wings and wanted to find a way to have them on a low sodium diet. Not your usual saucy wings but still hot Love Buffalo wings and wanted to find a way to have them on a low sodium diet. Not your usual saucy wings but still hot
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    12 Chicken Wingette/drumettes
    2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
    1 tsp Chili Powder
    1 tsp Garlic Powder
    1 tsp Onion Powder
    1 tsp Sugar
    1 tsp Paprika
    1/4 tsp Cumin
    3 tsp TexasPete Hot Sauce (100mg Sodium per serving)
    1 TBS Butter (use unsalted for less sodium)

Directions

Preheat oven to 400
Par Boil Chicken for 10 mins
Dry thoroughly
Put Dry spices and chicken in zip lock
toss to coat chicken with spice mix
use a foil lined cookie sheet with a cooling rack on top
Place chicken on rack
Bake for 35 min turning once after about 20 min
Melt butter and mix in hot sauce
After wings are cooked use a basing brush to baste the wings with sauce.

Eat alone or with bleu cheese or ranch dressing unless you are watching your sodium intake.
