Taco Salad Dip

Introduction

This is a light lunch or appetizer perfect for the hot summer months! Great for any get together! This is a light lunch or appetizer perfect for the hot summer months! Great for any get together!

Ingredients

    8 oz low fat cream cheese, softened
    8 oz light sour cream
    1 envelope taco seasoning mix
    1/2-1 tsp cumin (optional, to taste)
    1/2 large head iceburg lettuce, chopped fine
    1 medium tomato, seeded and diced
    1 cup 2% milk extra sharp cheddar, shredded
    1 bag baked tortilla chips

Directions

Put softened cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning mix, and cumin in a medium mixing bowl. Mix on lowest setting of electric mixer until smooth. Refridgerate overnight or at least until dip is chilled.

Spread dip in 10" flat round serving dish. Sprinkle with lettuce, tomato and cheese. Serve cold with tortilla chips.
