Pam's Version Of Chipolte Burrito Bowl

Submitted by: PMAY0313

Introduction

Once I knocked out most of my teeth in a bicycle wreck I had to find food that didn't need much chewing. Chipolte has shreaded beef and pork so I could have a tasty burrito bowl, The serving size was way over the top though and some of the ingredients could be switched to save additional calories here and there. Ingredients

Market Pantry Black Beans (0.5 Cup), 1 serving
Kraft Natural Cheese Fat Free Shredded Cheddar, 0.25 cup
Uncle Benís Natural Whole Grain Brown Rice (4.4oz), .5 serving
    Tomatoes, raw, diced, .5 cup,
Chicken breast strips, 3 oz., grilled by Kirkland (Costco), 1 serving

Tips

You can substitute any meat you want or go veggies only. I occasionally add fat free sour cream and a 100 calorie pack of Guacamole. This has saved me from all soup all the time during my year long dental misadventure and I don't feel deprived at all with this treat!

Directions

I use the pre-cooked Uncle Ben's Brown Rice in the individual serving container. I only use .5 servings. The Chicken is also pre-cooked. You can do each ingrediant individually or you can mix them all and take it as a lunch bag. All you need is a microwave to heat it up before you eat.
