Lil' Barbecue Chicken Bites

Introduction

Want some bbq, but not all the sugar? Try some lil' bbq chicken bites. Make your own sauce to leave out all the unwanted ingredients. (Great for kids too; my boys gobble it up!) Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 skinless boneless chicken breasts (2 whole breast/4 fillets)
    3/4 cup simply heinz ketchup
    (or for less sugar - a reduced sugar ketchup)
    2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tbsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. onion powder
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar



Directions

Wash and cut chicken breast into bite size pieces.
Put in a medium bowl.
Mix all ingredients together.
Pour over chicken bites.
Marinate for one hour. (optional)
Preheat oven to 350.
After placing parchment paper on cookie sheet, pour chicken bites onto cookie sheet.
Spread evenly over sheet.
Bake on center rack for 8 minutes; then take out and flip chicken.
Bake for another 8 minutes.

Serving Size: makes 2 servings
