Happy Herbivore's Simple Black Bean Burgers

These are vegan, vegetarian, plant-strong, or however you want to label them. But mostly they are easy, quick and delicious! These are vegan, vegetarian, plant-strong, or however you want to label them. But mostly they are easy, quick and delicious!

Ingredients

    1/3 cup quick oats (pulse old fashioned oats in spice mill)
    1 tsp onion powder
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tbsp yellow mustard
    2 tbsp ketchup
    1 15.5 oz can black beans - drained and rinsed

Directions

Mash black beans with a fork until mashed but not pureed. You should still see pieces of beans. Add other ingredients and mix well. Form 4 equal size patties. Place on parchment paper and bake 400 for 7 minutes on each side. Serve on buns or a lettuce wrap with burger condiments.
