Introduction

This is a classic slaw recipe, but halving the dressing saves A LOT of calories! I've always found that quite a bit of dressing ends up in the bottom of the bowl anyway, so it's hardly missed. Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 bag broccoli slaw mix (12 oz)
    1/4 cup sunflower seeds
    1 package chicken flavored ramen noodles, crushed
    flavor packet from ramen noodles
    1/2 cup vegetal;e or canola oil
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 Tbsp cider vinegar

Directions

Layer broccoli slaw mix, ramen noodles and sunflower seeds in a bowl. Do not mix.

In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, oil, flavor packet and vinegar. Pour over broccoli mixture. Let stand for 20 minutes.

Mix salad and serve immediately.

Serving Size: Makes 8 servings, about 1/2 cup each.
