10:30 AM Healthy Snack Bars




Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    2 c. oatmeal
    1 c. ground flaxseed
    1 c. bran buds
    1 egg
    1/4 c. canola oil
    1/2 c. applesauce
    1 banana, mashed
    1 T. cinnamon
    1/4 c. agave nectar (or substitute honey)
    1/2 c. sunflower seeds

    optional ingredients (not in calorie count)
    1/2 c. coconut
    3/4 c. dry roasted peanuts, crushed or other nuts
    1 c. vanilla protein
    1/2 c. mini chocolate chips

Directions

Stir all ingredients together in a large bowl. Line a 12x8 glass pan with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Spread batter in pan. Press down well. Bake at 325 for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Don't under or over bake. Let. cool. Cut into individual pieces and wrap in plastic wrap. Store in refrigerator.
