Introduction

Ingredients

    1 baguette French bread, cubed
    8 lg. eggs
    3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 tsp sugar

    Topping
    2 tbsp Olivio margarine
    3 tsp sugar
    2 tsp cinnamon


Directions

Start the night before serving. Cut bread into 1-inch cubes. Spray a 13 x 9 square baking pan and arrange cubes to fill pan completely.

In a medium bowl, beat eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla. Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 min before baking. Dot with Olivio and sprinkle topping over the top. Cover and bake 45-50 min at 350 or until nicely browned.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, combine butter, sugar, nuts and corn syrup. Mix well and spread evenly over bread. Bake 40 minutes or until puffed and golden.

Serve with maple syrup.
