Cheesy Turkey Stromboli Makeover

Ingredients

refrigerated pizza dough
reduced fat colby-jack cheese
lean ground turkey
red bell peppers
dried basil leaves
egg
water
Tips
Directions
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Roll out dough on floured surface. Pat or roll out into 12-inch square. Sprinkle cheese, turkey, sliced or chopped peppers and basil. Leave about 1/2 inch rim on all sides of square. Roll up, pinching seam and ends together to create a seal.
Carefully place on baking sheet (lined with foil), with seam on bottom.
Beat egg & water together, and brush onto dough.
Bake 22-25 minutes or until dough becomes golden brown. Let cool approx. 10 minutes before slicing.
