tray of frozen ice cubes
jar of chilled coffee
1 scoop of chocolate flavored protein powder (Isofemme)
2 Tbsp of flavored coffee Creamer (International Delight)
I use the chopping blade and a Magic Bullet Tall Mug to make this but you can use a regular blender that has ice crush. I shared this with a friend and she just uses her trusty blender and then puts the mix into a thermal mug
Because of the Protein Powder and the Creamer, this is actually a filling breakfast. If I have one of these in the morning, I don't munch as much at my desk..... a hazard as an office worker :)
Depending on the ratio of chilled coffee to coffee cubes you use this will have the consistency of a loose Tim Horton's Iced Capp to a thick Wendy's Frosty.
Also, making your cubes and coffee on the weekends is a god send. Just make a big pot of coffee, freeze your cubes. Once frozen, release them into a plastic container and pop it back in the fridge. Repeat until the container is full. I use an old Ice Cream container.... a flavor no one liked so they won't accidentally take it out of the fridge. This way I have cubes and coffee for my drinks for the whole work week
In the morning, put your protein powder in the bottom of the mug, pour your creamer in on top and about a half cup of the chilled coffee and blend
Next add about 7-10 Ice Cubes. It depends on how big of an iced capp you want ;) Blend these cubes in until smooth. If necessary to get it moving, add more chilled coffee.
When done, spin on a travel top, add a straw and head to work.
