Chili with ground turkey


Number of Servings: 12


    1 lb ground turkey
    1 clove garlic
    1/2 large onion (diced)
    55.5 oz kidney beans ( 1-40 oz can & 1-15.5 oz can)
    2-14 oz cans of diced petite tomatoes
    6 oz can tomato paste
    2 1/4 C water
    2 Tbsp chili powder
    1 tsp pepper
    1 Tbsp salt
    1 tsp cumin
    1 tsp paprika
    1 Tbsp sugar


Brown turkey in deep dutch oven.

Add garlic and onion while browning.

Once browned add the beans, tomatoes, tomato paste, water, chili powder, pepper, salt, cumin, paprika, and sugar.

Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer. Continue to cook approximately 30 min. or until desired consistency.

Enjoy with a slice of whole grain bread.
