Introduction

super easy and delicious fruit & nut bar for a fraction of the price of Lara bars super easy and delicious fruit & nut bar for a fraction of the price of Lara bars
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1/2 c. almonds
    1/2 c. dried cherries
    1/2 c. dates (pitted)
    1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

Directions

combine almonds, cherries and dates in food processor. pulse until the size of breadcrumbs. add vanilla and a pinch of sea salt (optional), pulsing until it stays together when pinched in between your fingers. if it seems to dry or crumbly, you can pulse in water (1/2 tsp at a time). shape into desired form on waxed paper (square or rectangle work great!). wrap in waxed paper or plastic wrap and chill for approx. an hour until it firms up. cut into 4 squares, and wrap individually. enjoy a delicious and healthy homemade Lara bar!
