Hamburger Soup

Ingredients

In Soup pot
Add:
1 tsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic/to taste - chopped
1 Large onion
2 Stocks celery - chopped
While above is sauteing
I
n fry pan brown
1-3/4 lbs lean ground beef
Drain off any excess fat
Add to soup pot
Add
1 tsp Cumin / to taste
1 tsp Worstshire sauce / to taste
1 bay leaf
2 medium carrots - chopped
1 900 Ml / 3.8 Cups - low salt (Campbells) Beef Broth
Let above come to simmer and add
28 oz can / low salt diced tomatoes
19 Fluid oz Red Kidney beans (drained & rinsed)
4 Cups water
Let cook together for 20 minutes then add
1 Cup frozen green beans
1 Cup frozen peas
4 Cups water
Bring to boil and let simmer for another 20 minutes.
To reduce 'fat content'
Cool / store over night in fridge, remove any excess fat and then store in serving containers.
