Smoky Marinara (1/2 cup/serv)

Ingredients

    1 tbsp olive oil
    3 garlic cloves , minced
    4 Tbsp fresh basil, chopped
    2 Tbsp fresh parsley , chopped
    2 Tbsp fresh oregano , chopped ( or 2teasp.dried)
    1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
    Dash of salt
    1/8 tsp pepper
    1 28oz can of fire-roasted tomato , undrained
    2 boxes of Pomi chopped tomato (or one 28oz can)
    undrained as well.

Tips

a bit more spice perhaps? I added one pepper in adobo sauce (Minced)


Directions

heat oil,add the garlic,basil,parsley and oregano
saute' for 1 minute,stirring often.
Stir in thevinegar and remainingingredients,reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Serving Size: makes 6 cups. 12 servings @.1/2 cup each.
