1 - 1 1/2 lb beef roasr
1 can beer
1 small onion, sliced
2. pour beer over roast. dover. refrigerate for 8 hours.
3. add sliced onion to slow cooker.
4. cover. cook on low 6 - 8 hours.
to thicken broth, mix together 1/8 cup flour and 1/2 cup water until smooth. Twenty minutes before end of cooking time, remove roast from cooker. Stir flour into beef broth until smooth. Return roast to cooker and continue cooking. When finished cut roast into chucks and serve with gravy.
