2 carrots cut into 1' long strips
1 celery stalk also sliced in strips
1 potato cubed
1 onion coarsely chopped
1 lb beef chuck roast
1/2 pkg dry onion soup mix
1 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
3/4 cups water
2. place roasr on top of vegetables
3. sprinkle with dry soup mix
4. combine liquid smoke and water. pour over roast.
5. cover. cook on low 7-8 hours, or until vegetables are tender.
6. slice meat and serve.
