Baked Tofu

Introduction

Baked in a marinade the tofu takes on the flavor of the herb(s), seems richer and is ready to use in serving sizes. Great cold, slice on a green salad. Baked in a marinade the tofu takes on the flavor of the herb(s), seems richer and is ready to use in serving sizes. Great cold, slice on a green salad.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    After cutting tofu into 2oz portions that are 1/2 inch thick, find a non-reactive pan that they will fit into snuggly. Mix the marinade and pour 1/2 into the pan, place single layer of tufu then top with rest of marinade. Baked uncovered, turning after 30 minutes. Does not dry out.

Tips

Play around with herb choice. I favor rosemary or tyme but you may like basil. Also this is easy to turn up the heat on with additional peppers.


Directions

400 degree oven for 60 minutes, turn after 30 minutes

Serving Size: 1 lb of tofu makes 8 2oz servings
