Introductiona refreshing sauce that works great on chicken, fish, or pork! a refreshing sauce that works great on chicken, fish, or pork!
2 ripe mangoes, peeled and cut up into small cubes
1 cup orange juice, 2 tsp. set aside
1/4 cup apricot jam or preserves
1 tblsp. packed brown sugar
pinch of: dried cloves and ginger
1 lemon, juiced and 1 tblsp. zest set aside
2 tsp. cornstarch mixed with 2 tsp. orange juice
1/4 cup chicken or other stock (see tips)
If braising meat, use juices from pan to add to the sauce in place of chicken stock. make the sauce in the same pan you braised the meat in!
Serving Size: makes 4 servings
