Gluten-Free Flaxseed "Cracker"

Introduction

Very high fibre, low saturated fats and only 238 cals.
This recipe was adapted from a Wheat Belly recipe I found.

Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    3 Tbls ground Flaxseed *any variety will do but must be ground
    1 medium egg
    Oil for coating dish

Tips

Add garlic, onion seasoning, pepper, chilli, sesame seeds, ground nuts, even cinnamon and brown sugar to create different crackers as needed.


Directions

Combine egg and flax well.
(You can thin with 1 Tblsp water if needed.)

Coat a microwave-safe plate with oil and pour flax mixture onto plate.

Microwave on high for 2-3 mins. Cool then gently lift cracker off plate and top as you wish.

Serving Size: 1 cracker about 4 inches in diameter - about the size of a pita.
