Tuna Casserole

Introduction

My children loved this growing up and still enjoy it on cold nights up north. My children loved this growing up and still enjoy it on cold nights up north.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 tblsp. Margarine (or butter)
    4 tblsp. Flour (white)
    2 cups Milk (1%)
    1 can Tuna
    1 can Peas
    1 cup crushed Soda Crackers
    Pinch of Salt and Pepper

Tips

Bake uncovered for a nice brown crunchy top.


Directions

In large frypan over med/high heat, melt margarine (or butter). Add flour and stir until a smooth paste is formed. Add milk and a pinch of salt and pepper and stir until thickened. Add drained tuna flakes and drained can of peas. Stir until well mixed and put in medium sized casserole dish . Sprinkle top with crushed soda crackers and bake at 350 for 30 min.
