Banana Nut Bread for Bread Machine

Number of Servings: 16


    3/4 c. water
    1 egg (to be beaten and measured with water)
    1 cup banana (mashed)
    1 T. butter
    3 c. bread flour
    1/4 c. Sugar
    1 teaspoon salt
    3 tsp. bread machine yeast
    3/4 c. pecans or other nuts (chopped)


Place all ingredients in bread machine pan (except nuts) in order by manufacture.
2. Select dough type and press start
3. When signaled add nuts.
4. When cycle is complete, remove the dough and place on lightly greased loaf pan.
5. Cover and allow to rise for about 45 minutes.
6. When dough is doubled in size, bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
7. Remove from oven and place on wire rack.

Serving Size: Makes 16 slices, 1 slice per serving
