Chickpea Burgers

Ingredients

    1 can of garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
    2 T flaxseed ground flour
    2 T lemon juice
    1 tsp cumin ground
    1 T tumeric
    1/4 tsp corriander
    1 T garlic powder
    1 T parsley
    1 egg
    2 T extra virgin oil to cook patties in

Tips

You can use any spices you would like...add parmesan cheese, more cumin or garlic....whatever you like. These are a good alternative to always eating meat. Also hot sauce or tomatoe pesto is good on top. YUM!


Directions

drain and rinse 1 can garbanzo beans...mash manually or use food processor, then add all ingredients...except olive oil. Measure out 1/4 cup patties and flatten....heat oil in skillet and add patties cooking around 7 to 10 mins on medium heat then flip to other side and cook the same or until well browned.
Enjoy!
