Black Beans and Rice with Broccoli

Ingredients

    Beans, black, cooked and drained 1 cup
    White Rice, long grain, 1 cup
    Broccoli, cooked, 1 cup, chopped
    Cumin, ground, 1 tbsp
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Pepper, black, 1 tbsp
    Onions, raw, .50 cup, chopped
    Bacon grease, 1 tsp
    Water, 2 cups
    Red Pepper Flakes
    Hot Sauce to taste (optional)

Directions

Saute` onions in bacon grease in large skillet. Add rice, salt, pepper, cumin, water. Bring to boil, then reduce heat to low.

Add black beans, pepper flakes, hot sauce and broccoli. Cover tightly and cook for 20 minutes, or until rice is light and fluffy.

Season to taste.
