635grams extra lean ground beef
385grams lean ground turkey
0.5cup chopped onion
4 cloves garlic, minced
0.5cup chickpeas, mashed
*optional spices including (what I used, but not limited to) salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, dried garlic, onion powder... be creative and delicous.
Chop onion, mince garlic, add to meat.
Mash chickpeas, crack egg and mix together before adding to meat.
Mix (bare hands works best).
Let sit for however long you might want, or immediately form into 6 patties.
Lightly spray pan with spray and grill each side of the burger, 5-10 minutes per side, until cooked through.
Serving Size: Makes 6- medium sized burgers (about 175gram uncooked)
