Karen's VitaMix Happy Green Drink

Introduction

The first time I made this for breakfast, I had unusual energy and elevated mood throughout the day! The first time I made this for breakfast, I had unusual energy and elevated mood throughout the day!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    For convenience, I've used;
    1 cup Kale, bagged - rough chop.
    1 cup Baby Spinach, bagged.
    1 cup Parsley stem and leaf.
    2 small Persian Cucumbers, peel on.
    1 half Apple, med. peel on.
    1 Carrot. med. peel on.
    1 half Lemon, skin on.
    1 half Lime, skin on.
    1 Inch long piece Ginger Root, peeled and sliced across the fiber.
    1 Peeled Kiwi.
    1 half cup Orange juice.
    1 Hand-full of ice cubes to help it all blend and stay nice and cool.

Tips

I use a Vita-Mix blender, so am able to blend rough food to a very smooth consistency.


Directions

Rough chop larger items to allow blender to do it's job. Throw it all in a high powered blender and blend 'till smooth.
Enjoy, it's sweet and tangy. Best of all it's good for you!
