Peanut-Free Ranger Cookies

Ingredients

    1/2 cup Butter, unsalted
    1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
    1/2 cup Brown Sugar
    2 large Eggs
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract,
    1 cup Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal- Plain
    1 cup Pecans, chopped
    1 1/2 cups ap Flour
    1/4 tsp Baking Soda
    1 tsp Baking Powder
    1/2 tsp Salt
    4 oz (about 1 cup)M&M's Minis chocolate candies

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. In blender or food processor, grind oats and pecans until fine meal. Stir in flour, oats, pecans, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Fold in M&M's last. Scoop by rounded teaspoonfuls (or using a #32 scoop) onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes for chewy cookies, 14 for crunchy biscuits. Good both ways!
