Baked Oatmeal

Ingredients

    cup butter, melted
    2 cups brown sugar
    4 eggs, beaten
    6 cups oatmeal
    1T. baking powder
    2 t. salt
    2 cups milk

Tips

You can make this up the night before and keep it in the refrigerator. If you do, cover it overnight. In the morning, remove covering and bake at 300* for 1 hour. Baking it this way makes it more cakey since it sits overnight.


Directions

Place butter in pan you will bake the oatmeal in and place it in the oven while you preheat the oven. In a large mixing bowl, add eggs and sugar and beat well. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Once butter is melted, pour it into the batter and mix. Pour back into the pan you melted the butter in and bake in a preheated 350* oven for 40-50 minutes or until golden brown.
