Lorraine's Lazy Granola

Introduction

A delicious well balanced granola! A delicious well balanced granola!
Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    7 cups rolled oats
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup oil
    1/2 cup honey
    1/2 cup coconut
    1/4 cup sesame seeds
    1/2 cup pecans, chopped
    1/4 cup flax seeds
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

Preheat oven to 325*. Combine brown sugar, oil and honey in a microwave safe bowl. Bring to a low boil in microwave. Add cinnamon, pecans, sesame seeds, coconut, and vanilla. Stir well.
Pour microwave mixture over 7 cups of oats in a large bowl and stir until well coated. Pour into two 9x13 pans that are well greased. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes, take it out, stir it well. Put back in oven, which you have turned OFF and go to bed. Wake up to wonderful homemade granola for breakfast.
