Beef Tips and Noodles

Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    2 pounds sirloin steak cut into small pieces
    1/4 cup butter
    1 small chopped onion
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
    1 14-oz beef broth
    1 tablespoon parsley
    1 teaspoon basil
    salt
    pepper
    Egg Noodles

Tips

This can be prepared as above but then dumped into a crock pot to cook on low for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.


Directions

Place the flour, 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper in a plastic bag. Add 2 pounds sirloin steak cut into small pieces; shake in bag.
Brown the floured steak cubes in 1/4 cup of butter for about 15 minutes. Add: onion, lemon juice, beef broth, parsley, basil, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well, cover and simmer over low heat for 1 1/2 hours once in awhile.

Serving Size: Makes 8 - 1 cup servings
