Split pea Chowder

Ingredients

    6 cups of water
    1 cup split peas
    1 cup chopped onions
    1 cup diced celery
    1/2 cup brown rice
    2 tsp salt
    1 cup diced carrots
    1 tsp basil

Tips

Add sriracha and mrs. dash if you want more flavor.


Directions

Add rice and peas to boiling water, lightly boil for 1 1/2 hours. Add remaining ingredients and continue to cook for about 30 minutes.
