1.5 lbs Kale 3 cups fresh diced Tomatoes (or 2 cups canned) 1 cup chopped Onions 1/2 tbsp Cumin seed Garlic, 2 cloves minced 1/2 teasp Tabasco Sauce Salt to taste (calculations use .5 teasp)
Wash and stem kale. Chop leaves (stack and slice crosswise into1/8 inch strips). Combine tomatoes, onions, cumin, garlic, tabasco and salt in saucepan. Cover and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes. Add kale, cover and gently simmer, stirring frequently, for 10 to 15 minutes or until kale is tender.
