Sausage & Bean Tostadas
1 pkg. Hillshire Farms Turkey Pepper Jack Cheese Sausage
1 can dark red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 cup onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1 cup mexican blend shredded cheese
6 tbsp salsa
Lay the tortillas on a baking sheet and bake for 10 - 15 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
Meanwhile, in a large nonstick pan, saute onions and garlic in cooking spray until soft, add beans, oregano and chili flake and mash into a paste, adding water to thin slightly.
In a separate saute pan, saute diced sausage until browned and crisp.
On each tortilla, portion out the beans, top with the sausage. Sprinkle cheese over, and bake for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Top with salsa.
Serving Size: Makes 6 tostada cups.
