Great for dinner or as a appetizer!
Number of Servings: 5
Ingredients
-
1 container (20oz) Jennie-O Ground Lean Turkey, 93/7
0.5 cup diced onion
0.25 cup diced celery
0.25 cup diced shredded carrot
3 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
10 tsp Frank's Hot Sauce
Tips
Finely diced the vegetables so they aren't so chunky in the mixture - makes the meatballs easier to make without the use of breadcrumbs or eggs as a bonding agent
If you find a lower-sodium hot sauce, feel free to substitute. I used what I had on-hand.
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 450*F
2. In a medium bowl, add all ingredients except for Hot Sauce. Mix well to combine
3. Using your hand, split the mixture into 4 equal sections. Make 5 even-sized meatballs with each section until all the mixture is rolled.
4. Place meatballs on a broiling pan (so drippings drop through). Cook 10-12 minutes or until done
5. Combine meatballs and hot sauce in bowl until well coated. Serve immediately
Serving Size: 1 serving = 4 meatballs, Makes 5 servings
