Crockpot Refried Beans

Introduction

Refried beans made in a slow cooker. Makes ten 1/2 cup servings. Refried beans made in a slow cooker. Makes ten 1/2 cup servings.

Ingredients

    2 cups pinto beans, dry
    6 cups water
    1 tsp salt
    2 tsp pepper
    1 tsp dried minced onion
    1 tsp minced garlic

Directions

rinse & drain beans & place in crockpot. cover with water & add salt, pepper, onion, garlic. give it a stir. cover & cook on high for 6-8 hours or until most of the water is gone. mash & serve with toppings of your choice. good on tostadas, nachos & burritos.
