Dr Oz 48 hr Cleanse Vegetable Broth Soup

Ingredients

    2 Red Onions, roughly chopped
    2 Large Stalks Celery, roughly chopped
    1 Fennel Bulk, fronds and stalks include, roughly chopped
    2 tsp caraway seeds
    2 tsp sea salt
    Freshly ground pepper
    1 cup shitake mushroom caps,sliced
    4 cloves of garlic, minced
    1 cabbage, roughly chopped
    2 qts Vegetable Broth
    2 Tbsp paprika
    2 tbsp fresh oregano
    8 sprigs parsley, chopped stems and leaves
    1/2 c parsley chopped
    2 Tbsp fresh oregano, chopped

Directions

Chopped vegetables except parsley sprigs, combine in pot, add broth, Bring to a boil and simmer 30 minutes to 1 hour. Adjust seasonings. Remove whole parsley springs, serve topped with fresh parsley. Serve with sauerkraut and chopped apples warm or room temperature.
