Introduction

I always know if I have a winner when my husband goes back for seconds.

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    3 cups broad egg noodles
    1 cup mixed frozen veg or peas
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1/2 can water chestnuts chopped (optional)
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1 can reduced fat sodium cream of mushroom soup
    a few shakes of worchestershire sauce
    a few shakes Lawry's seasoning salt.
    1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top

    Method: Boil noodles, veggies, and onions (I have a touchy stomach) otherwise I would just add to the tuna mixture. Strain the noodles etc. Mix tuna, soup, seasoning and water chestnuts. Stir noodles and tuna mixture together and pour into your casserole dishes. Top with shredded cheese and bake. This makes a large casserole. Possibly for eight. I used what dishes I had on hand. This made one four cup casserole and one two cup casserole. I baked it at 350 F 45 minutes. Moderate oven for those on Celsius. or until the cheese is melted and everything is bubbling. This is saucy meal so I suppose you could add one or two eggs to your tuna mixture to firm it up.
