French Toast

Ingredients

    Ingredients:
    *Pepperidge Farm cinnamon raisin bread
    1 loaf - 16 slices
    3 - egg whites
    5 tsp - *Sugar In The Raw* (or other sweetner)
    12 oz - evaporated, nonfat milk (1 can)
    1 cup - vanilla soymilk
    1 tsp - cinnamon
    2 tsp - vanilla extract

Directions

Spray (liberally) a skillet with cooking spray. Heat the pan to low to medium temperature.

In a large bowl whisk sugar in egg whites. Whisk in milk (both types), cinnamon, vanilla. Immerse each slice of bread in the liquid mixture. Be sure the entire slice is soaked in the liquid. Place in skillet and fry til one side is brown. Add as many slices to the pan that can fit. Flip and cook the other side. Be sure to spray the pan between each cooking rounds. There will be a little liquid after all slices have been immersed in the liquid.

**I cook the entire loaf so that I have breakfast for 8 days in a row. Sometimes I freeze some of it for later.**
