Paleo Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients

2 Tablespoons olive oil
l large onion, diced
l pound turkey w/sausage seasoning
2 cups diced carrots
2 cups diced celery
1 pound organic grass fed beef or buffalo
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 cup chicken broth
2 large heads cauliflower, trimmed and steamed until very soft
2 tablespoons olive oil
Tips
I cook my turkey in separate pan as well as beef or buffalo to cut down on time.
Directions
Heat olive oil in a very large frying pan
Saute onion for 15 minutes until soft
Add turkey to pan &saute until cooked, bout 10 minutes
Add carrots & celery & saute for 10 minutes or until soft
Add ground beef or buffalo
Season with salt & pepper & smoked paprika
Add chicken broth & cook down broth 60%
Place cauliflower in food processor & puree w/olive oil
until smooth
Pour ground beef/turkey mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish
Pour mashed cauliflower over beef mixture
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes
