Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

All Natural Peanut Butter, 1/2 c
    Pure Maple Syrup, .25 cup
    Applesauce, unsweetened, .50 cup
Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened, .5 cup
Black Beans (Low Sodium), 1.5 cup
Dark Chocolate Chips, 5 tbsp (75g)
    All-Bran Buds Cereal, 0.33 cup
    vanilla Protein powder, 60 gram
    Oats, Quaker, 1.25 cup
    Unsalted Peanuts, 0.33 cup
Flavour if desired - vanilla, cinnamon, etc

Tips

if using unflavoured protein powder, add vanilla or similar. Could use chocolate protein powder for an extra chocolatey kick. I used vanilla protein powder and cinnamon.

Directions

Directions
1. In a food processor, combine beans, syrup, applesauce, peanut butter, and flavouring until smooth. Add the oats, cereal, protein powder and cocoa and pulse just to combine. Add peanuts, chips and pulse again just to combine. It should be like thick brownie mix. If the consistency is too dry, add 1/4 cup of water; if itís too runny, add 1/4 cup of oats.

2. Spread mixture into a greased 9◊13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

3. Remove from oven and let cool before slicing into 16 bars.

Serving Size:†makes 16 4.5"x1.75" bars
