Submitted by: BLUEMOON_Introduction
Easy to whip up cole slaw with lightened dressing. Easy to whip up cole slaw with lightened dressing.Ingredients
-
green cabbage
red cabbage
carrot
granny smith apple
brown mustard
light brown sugar
pickle relish
salt
pepper
almond slices
greek yogurt
apple cider vinegar - raw
organic raisins (don't eat raisins with sulphur dioxide as a preservative)
Tips
Great additions are: dried cranberries, celery & anything else you like. Dried cranberries are surprisingly high in sugar/calories, though. Avoid raisins with sulphur dioxide if possible (it interferes w/absorption of nutrients). Go organic when & were you can. If you don't think you will consume the whole batch, just mix wet & dry in the amounts you want, that way it wont' get overly soggy.
