Baked Fish Chowder

Ingredients

    1 onion, sliced
    2 potatoes, sliced thinly
    minced garlic to taste
    1 tsp dill
    2 tbsp butter
    1 cup clam juice or water, boiling
    1 pound haddock or salmon fillet
    1 cup milk warmed (can use cream if desired)

Tips

If using salmon, place fillet on top with skin side up. After baking the skin peels off easily.

Directions

Layer first 7 ingredients in casserole with cover. Place fish on top. Cover and bake for 60 minutes. Add Milk or cream, stir gently and serve. Note: the milk is warmed before adding.
